Court of Protection

Sinclair Gibson LLP handles all matters involving the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection such as drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (“LPAs”), and registering existing Enduring Powers of Attorney (“EPAs”). We also advise on challenges to the validity of LPAs and EPAs and can undertake applications for statutory wills on behalf of those with insufficient capacity to make their own.

Partners of the firm are appointed by the Court of Protection to act as property and affairs deputies. We can then administer the estate of the incapacitated individual and can bring or defend proceedings in that capacity, if necessary.
