Robert commenced his training contract in September 2022 and is now undertaking his final seat with the Litigation department.
Prior to joining the firm Robert was employed as corporate counsel for a family business in Sweden and was seconded to a law firm dealing with contentious litigation. Before his legal training Robert served several years in the Finnish Defence Forces and working in tech startups, while volunteering for Citizens Advice and legal aid clinics specialising in appeals to the Criminal Cases Review Commission.
Robert studied at the Finnish National Defence University before studying International Relations at the University of London. Subsequently he completed his Master of Laws (LLM) at the Open University before completing his GDL and LPC and MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, obtaining a Distinction in both.
