The partners of Sinclair Gibson are delighted to announce the appointment of Oliver Bishop and Hazel Power as partners of the firm with effect from today, Monday 1 July 2024.
Managing Partner, Lucy Gibson, says “I am thrilled to welcome Oliver and Hazel to the partnership. Their dedication to the private clients of the firm has been outstanding, and we look forward to the valuable part they will both play in the future development of our private client practice.”
Senior Partner, Keith Bruce-Smith, echoes Lucy’s comments stating “Both Oliver and Hazel have in recent years made conspicuous contributions to the firm’s business. We give them our congratulations and look forward to all they will achieve in the future as a new generation of partners.”
Oliver and Hazel have been key members of the private client department at Sinclair Gibson in recent years. This announcement has come as no surprise to those who have worked alongside them. Since becoming senior associates in May 2022, they have both built up impressive technical expertise in the core areas of private client practice. Each of them advises on a wide range of trust and UK tax matters, wills and succession planning, acting for private individuals, beneficiaries, trustees and protectors, based both in the UK and abroad.
"Sinclair Gibson understands its clients' unique requirements and circumstances and is able to tailor its advice. This is mainly due to the team's knowledge of the wider legal and tax system."
