The administration of a trust and, in particular, dealing with the tax compliance requirements of HM Revenue & Customs, can be onerous. We have considerable experience and expertise in all matters relating to the administration of trusts, and can provide help and technical advice to settlors, trustees and beneficiaries.
Our trust administration work includes dealing with:
- the administration of all types of family and charitable trusts;
- trust governance matters such as advising on the frequency of trustee meetings, compiling trustee meeting packs, drafting minutes and resolutions, and implementing trust distributions and other decisions;
- all aspects of HM Revenue & Customs compliance work, including preparation of income, capital gains and inheritance tax returns on behalf of trustees and beneficiaries; and
- the selection of suitable investment management advisers and liaison with advisers over investment management, including strategy, monitoring and review.
