Sinclair Gibson, the specialist London family and private client firm, has announced the appointment of James Copson as a Partner in its Family Law team. He will join the firm on 19 April 2022.

James joins Sinclair Gibson from Withers where he worked for over 32 years, having been made a partner in the Family Law team in 1998.

James will bring to Sinclair Gibson his acclaimed specialization in divorce and all areas of family breakdown with a particular interest in the resolution of complex financial disputes, including those with international and cross-border elements. His long experience of such matters and their broader aspects, including the negotiation of pre- and post-nuptial contracts, child arrangement issues and advice on cohabitation arrangements, will be an excellent complement to Sinclair Gibson’s offering in both the international and domestic family law market.
